Summer Camp 2013

Maya headed up to summer camp this week.  We dropped her off at Camp Pendola on Sunday and we'll pick her up on Saturday.  This was an all girls week.  The "cabin" she stayed in had no running water or electricity.  It basically was a deck with 4' high plywood walls, screen and a roof that had holes in it.  It so happened that on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday it rained....a lot.  And now toward the end of the week it's going to be very hot in the area.  We haven't heard a single word from her since we said good-bye to her on Sunday.  This place is so remote that there isn't any phone service.  So it's been odd not knowing how she's doing for this length of time.  We can't wait to hear how her week went.
